Aastra appoints Rainier PR to increase presence in UK market

Aastra Technologies Limited, Europe’s third largest player in the enterprise telecommunications market*, has chosen Rainier PR to help continue to grow its profile in the UK.

Rainier PR’s brief will be to promote Aastra’s existing and new product ranges as well as develop thought-leadership programmes and campaigns to help cut further into the market share of its competitors. The Canadian communications company selected Rainier PR after a stringent review.

“We held a thorough selection programme and met a number of UK agencies, but selected Rainier PR on the basis the strength of their proposal but also their understanding of our market and the good chemistry we enjoyed,” said Michael Calvert, UK General Manager of Aastra. “The challenge now is to get Aastra’s unique offering to the forefront of IT purchasers’ minds when they need to upgrade their telephony systems.”
